Childhood moves quickly. Between busy schedules, constant screens, and everyday responsibilities, the small window for meaningful connection with young children can easily slip by.
Hi! I'm Tabby—mom of two little ones (ages 5 and under), homeschool educator, and creator of the Friends Club and the Quiet Station.
With a teaching certificate and years of hands-on experience in educational settings, I understand what truly engages young learners. But it wasn't until I began homeschooling my own children that I discovered the real magic: the one-on-one time spent exploring, creating, and laughing together.
For the past five years, I've transformed my house month to month into themed adventures. Cardboard boxes became pirate ships, space centers, art museums, and fire trucks. Science experiments, engineering challenges, and backyard gardening became our favorite subjects. That connection didn't just impact my children—it transformed me, too.
But I know not everyone has that kind of time. That's why I created The Friends Club—to share these experiences with families who want magical connection moments without the hours of planning. The activities are mostly low-prep, using supplies you likely have at home, with key materials included. You don't need Pinterest perfection. You just need presence, and I'm here to make that easier.
